Anything I truly love to create has its own 10 minutes of enchantment. I am inclined to name that piece a "Little Gem" and when it has been made I am ready to let it go, see it become someone else's gem of the moment.
The next step is to move forward and I will run to a new inspiration.
Anyway I made a few more artifacts for the kiln to make this firing as economical as possible.
I filled the kiln and fired the different shapes which I dreamed would make charming artifacts, little gems that would hang as something new and precious, not one of a mass production but little gems that would bring an intimate love to that special wall in a personal space......

I painted this one up, it looked so promising. In hind site, I would like to see more uneven edges in random places to add to the sketchiness of the piece. I really wanted more spontaneity, never the less this was a stepping stone to where im headed with this series.
Managing my site, journaling, painting, throwing clay and managing a home means things don't move as quickly as I would like them to.....so I'll pursue this over time and see how things evolve.
I experimented with design, colours and textures and I added a ribbon as a finish on one too.
I designed these great little hangars which I really love, what do you think. In art everything is a consideration and every detail adds to the finished image, I was really happy with them but still my next batch will be a lot more sketchy. I really want the clay to feel more fun and less solid. only experimentation and trial and error will show me the results I'm looking for.

So this is where I am with these. Im thinking once I have mastered them I may make a few for the website and they can go as they are made on a first come first serve basis. I wonder how folks will feel about this. Let me know in the comments.
........................................................one step at a time.
